Aldersgate Church in Sumter has made it a priority to help our community by being a host site for Angel Food Ministries. Aldersgate Church is located at 211 Alice Drive in Sumter.
On May 25, 2007 Google unveiled Street View for San Francisco, Las Vegas, Denver, Miami, New York City. It's a high tech online map which enables anybody with an internet connection to take an up-close and personal tour at "street level" of any city coverd by Google Street Level. When you use it you can virtually travel around a given area, turn around, look up and down, even read the license plates on some passing vehicles.
Google has been working on this technology for years. They have been databasing loads of data. Satelite images, street level images and more.
Since July, Jason Ross and his wife Racheal have been compiling a huge web-database of South Carolina Sports and Recreation information. It's a website named SCSportsSource.com. According to Ross, "SCSportsSource.com is the most comprehensive source of sports and recreation for the state of South Carolina." A recent site search showed that SCSportsSource.com had over 236 pages of information.
The site includes hundred of links to South Carolina Sports & Recreation Websites. You can research anything from Kayaking to High School Sports Teams. Also included on the site are articles about SC Sports & Recreation Events.
